stephen peneycad

Stephen Peneycad studied at the Guildhall School of Music with Paul Beniston, Paul Cosh, Anne McAneney and natural trumpet with Steve Keavy.
As a busy and versatile freelance musician, Stephen has performed with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Rambert Ballet and in touring shows and the West End including Anything Goes, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Showboat, Miss Saigon, Shrek, Les Miserables, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Heathers, Bugsy Malone, High Society, White Christmas and the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
He was also a member of the orchestra for Longborough’s 2024 Ring Cycle, and will performing again during the 2025 season. Stephen is also a regular musician for Opera Brava.
Alongside performing, Stephen has worked extensively as a teacher in schools, alongside the LSO and LPO, and as a private instrumental teacher.
