Ladislav Prokop

Picture
Czech born Ladislav first studied the  family tradition of violin making with his grandfather, also called Ladislav Prokop! He moved to London in 2005  to join the Frederick Phelps  company as their Senior Restorer. In his work Ladislav  gained first hand experience with instruments from famous makers such as Guarneri and Amati, as well as violin bows by  the French masters.
In 2012 Ladislav opened his own workshop in North London, in which , as well as restoring old instruments, he also makes new ones using modern acoustic technology. He now has  a long list of distinguished clients waiting for his violins, violas and cellos.
